Mimi graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from LaTrobe University, Victoria.
Mimi started her career in Victoria gaining extensive experience in the private rehabilitation field before moving back to Tasmania in 2014. Multiple years as a senior therapist at the Launceston General Hospital saw Mimi develop her skills in acute injury management and cognitive assessment.
Employment across the private and public sector has provided exposure to various positions and valuable experiences leading to a decision to settle in private practice in 2017. Now out in the community, Mimi specialises in the management of Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
Mimi is passionate about her role as both Business Director and Occupational Therapist. Like Aunty Geraldine, Mimi has a knack for bringing out the best in people. Her focus on capacity building and meaningful skill development assists people to set and achieve their goals. Mimi centres her work around overall wellbeing and largely values the use of a client-centred wellness approach.

Ellie manages the day-to-day administration requirements of the clinical business. Referral management and invoicing are amongst the tasks Ellie completes. Her business management skills are an asset to the Thanks to Geraldine business.
Ellie is Mimi’s older sister by two years, luckily allowing her to have more solid memories of their Aunty Geraldine.

Amanda has a long standing connection with the Archer family. Working across the family farming business, butchery and now Thanks to Geraldine. Her commitment to her roles is exceptional.
Her accountancy background and years of experience as an administrator has transferred beautifully into the health sector. Amanda’s attention to detail and empathy for those facing challenging situations has been a great strength within the Thanks to Geraldine business.
